This one aired during the Super Bowl. If the half time show was this commercial instead of BEP the world would be a better place…

It took some time, some frustration, and a lot of “why the **** did WordPress give me so many f***ing files?!?!” But I finally created this: my own unique WordPress theme.
It was pretty easy once I realized that you don’t have to touch 90% of the files WordPress supplies for you.
I based most of my code on Ian Stewart’s blog ThemeShaper. The most important piece of information you can take away from the post is that WordPress uses one main file – index.php – to import all other files and loop through all your posts. Header, sidebar, and footer import into index and contain elements like <title>, <html>, and <body> tags. It’s an efficient way to contain your files.
Cheers!
